The Colonial Revival

Large round to oval mahogany dining room table. This 72-inch round pedestal table has a 28-inch self-storing butterfly leaf and opens to a 100-inch oval shape. It stands sturdy on an overbuilt steel-reinforced saber leg pedestal with solid brass-capped feet and levelers, all fabricated from lost wax castings. When paired with 20-inch wide chairs, or narrower, you can seat 12 people at this table when extended. The tabletop is decorated with a pie-cut flame mahogany field. Traditional two-tone finish in medium brown color and black-and-white Hepplewhite-style inlays. Future production tables will have a few minor differences, such as fluted column posts instead of turned columns, reeded legs, and a brass collar at the base of the posts. More importantly, the skirted apron will be shorter and will provide 26 3/4-inch clearance from the ground.
